Description: 53 campsites on an alluvial fan next to Horton Creek. Outstanding opportunities for mountain biking, equestrian, off-highway vehicle use and hiking. Along the alluvial fan to the west, wintering deer herds often graze in the early spring. Be watchful for mountain lions at this time of year.
Location: Take US 395 to Sawmill Road. Proceed west, then turn north on South Round Valley Road for about 3 miles. Watch for campground entrance sign.
