Description: 5300-foot elevation. Group site near Hume Lake accomodates up to 100 people. A campfire circle allows for convivial gatherings. Conveniences, including rentals, at the lake. This campground is within the Giant Sequoia National Monument. Trails in the monument, open to hikers, horses, and bikes (outside the wilderness areas), wind through giant sequoia groves, up mountains, and alongside wild rivers.
Location: From Fresno take Highway 180 East to Grants Grove. Drive approximately 12 1/4 miles. Take a right on to Hume Road, and drive four more miles passing Christian Camps. Take a right at the Aspen Hollow sign. Go 3/4 mile reaching the entrance of the campground.
