Description: 3300-foot elevation. 30 campsites, including 14 reservable equestrian sites and some double sites. This is a crucial breeding ground for the endangered arroyo toad, and closes periodically for the health of this animal. Bears are frequent visitors at this campground and bear boxes are provided.
Location: East of San Diego, take I-8 to Buckman Springs Road exit and continue 2 miles east on Old Highway 80.
