Description: 9500-foot elevation. 22 campsites near Dumont Lake on top of Park Range and on the Continental Divide. Area has great scenic views of several mountain ranges. Fishing in the lake, and boating with nonmotorized or electric-motor boats. Hiking up to Rabbit Ears Peak. A short trail leads to the lake from the picnic area. Mountain biking on the nearby roads. The adjacent picnic area is also handicapped-accessible.
Location: From Steamboat Springs, go 22 miles southeast on US 40 and FR 315.
