Description: 3000-foot elevation. 17 campsites and a picnic area on the Squaw Lakes. One campsite is wheelchair-accessible. A short nature trail goes around the two lakes, and a longer trail leads south to Summit Lake. The Summit Lake trail is open to mountain bikes, dirt bikes, hikers, and horses. Swimming in the lakes, and fishing for rainbow and cutthroat trout. No motorized boating, but small craft like canoes are permitted on the lake.
Location: From Jacksonville, go 7 miles south on OR 238, then 14 miles south on Upper Applegate Road, then 8.5 east on Forest Road 1075.
