Description: 2100-foot elevation. 10 campsites, including 6 tent-only sites on Beaver Creek. This is one of the areas on the forest where recreational gold panning is allowed.
Permitted equipment includes pans, dredges, hand-held sluices,and metal detectors. Application of all equipment and activity described is restricted to the stream bed up to the normal highwater level. Stream banks are not to be undermined or disturbed in any manner.
Location: From Jacksonville, go about 7 miles south on OR 238, 8.5 miles south on Upper Applegate Road, then 3 miles east on Forest Road 20.
