Description: 4350-foot elevation. 24 campsites on Wickiup Reservoir. Fishing in the reservoir is excellent for enormous brown trout, as well as rainbow and brook trout, kokanee and coho salmon, whitefish, and chub. Late in the summer, irrigation draw-downs can lower the level of the reservoir by about half, but the fishing stays pretty good. The wetlands to the east of the campground are a great place for bird watching.
Location: From Bend, go about 27 miles south on US 97, 11 miles west on County Road 43, 4.5 miles west on Forest Road 42, then 2 miles south on FR 4260.
