Description: 4350-foot elevation. 17 campsites on the western arm of Wickiup Reservoir. Fishing in the reservoir is excellent for enormous brown trout, as well as rainbow and brook trout, kokanee and coho salmon, whitefish, and chub. Fish cleaning stations are available by the lake. Late in the summer, irrigation draw-downs can lower the level of the reservoir by about half, but the fishing stays pretty good. The wetlands near the campground are a great place for bird watching.
Location: From Bend, go about 56 miles southwest on County Road 46 (Cascade Lakes Highway).
