Description: 4750-foot elevation. 43 campsites on Lava Lake. Fishing for rainbow trout, brook trout, whitefish, and chub. The lake was formed by a flow of lava across its east shore, between Lava Lake and Little Lava Lake. A trail leads around the east side of the lake, and another leads from the south side of the lake into the Three Sisters Wilderness, to Williamson Mountain. A fish cleaning station is available near the lake.

Location: From Bend, go about 38 miles west and south on County Road 46 (Cascade Lakes Highway), then 1 mile east on Forest Road 4600-500.
