Description: 2100-foot elevation. 14 campsites with corrals on Lost Creek. The campground is very near the Wild and Scenic Sandy River, where you can fish for steelhead year round, for adipose-clipped coho salmon from September 1 - October 31, and for chinook salmon February 1 - July 15 and September 1 -October 31. Trails from the campground meander south into the Zigzag Mountains in the Mount Hood Wilderness. FR 18 accesses the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail.
Location: From Sandy, go east on US 26, 4.5 miles north on Forest Road 18, and about 0.75 mile southeast on FR 1825.
