Description: 1600-foot elevation. 15 campsites in the canyon carved by the Wild and Scenic Salmon River. Trailhead access from the end of the road to the Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness. Fishing for steelhead in the river January 1 - March 31 and May 27 - December 31.
Fishing for chinook salmon and adipose-clipped coho salmon from May 27 - December 31.
Location: From Sandy, go 16 miles east on US 26, then 5 miles south on Forest Road 2618.
