Description: This 6-person cabin has a living room, bedroom, indoor
bathroom with a bathtub, a kitchen with a propane stove
and refrigerator, and a wood stove for heat. There
are three bunk beds, but you must bring your own bedding.
There
is no electricity.
Fishing in the North Fork of the Boise River, and trails
run east and west from the cabin. Many swimming and
fishing holes can be found within a short distance.
The Hungarian/Sunset Trail is located across the road
about 200 yards north of the cabin.
The Beaver Creek/Grand Mountain Trail is just across
the river or down the road one mile to the trailhead.
The Short Creek Trail, where you can see osprey nests
in snags along the river, is
located
at
the
confluence of Rabbit Creek and the North Fork Boise
River. Barber Flat
also has osprey nests and other wildlife viewing.
