Description: 6500-foot elevation. Recreation area contains 24 regular campsites (up to 8 campers), 2 double campsites (up to 16), one group site which can accomodate up to 100 campers, and 12 picnic areas.

The Crestline Cycle trail starts just north of the campground. The trailhead for the beautiful Scout Mountain nature trail is at the campground. South of the campground, near the junction of Forest Roads 002 & 001, is the East Mink Trail, which is open for foot and horse traffic in the summer and is groomed for nordic skiing in the winter. Nature trails and scenic overlooks offer a chance to learn about the natural history of the area. Off-road trails available nearby.
