Description: This campground is high in the Laramie Mountains. Located at 8200 feet, the Muddy Mountain Environmental Education Area offers outstanding alpine scenery and views of nearby Casper Mountain. In spring and summer a multitude of wildflowers grace the area, and in the autumn, the numerous aspen stands turn a brilliant gold.
Location: From Casper, go south about 14 miles; first on Casper Mountain Road, then on County Road 505.
