Description: This 37,469-acre area is composed primarily of sagebrush grasslands, with some forested and riparian areas. Every species of big game in Wyoming, except mountain goats, resides here. Other inhabitants, include foxes, songbirds, whitefish, and cutthroat, brook, brown and rainbow trout. The ruins of the Swanson Place, an old stage station, can be seen here.

Location: From Dubois, take US 26/287 about 10.5 miles south, then turn north on East Fork Road and go 7 miles north.
