Description: A cottonwood forest and riparian shrubland make this area attractive to a variety of big game seeking winter range, including elk, pronghorn antelope, moose, mule deer and bighorn sheep. Fishing for trout and whitefish in the Wiggins Fork River. This was a traditional wintering site for the Sheepeater clan of the Shoshone, and there are many artifacts here, including a large bighorn sheep trap.

Location: From Dubois, go about 10 miles east on US26/287, then north about 9 miles on County Road 277/ East Fork Road to the campground and headquarters.
