Description: 8400` elevation. 27 sites, some along the South Tongue River. Some sites are available until the first snow, but there are no services after September 21. 14 day stay limit. Interpretive signs nearby, as well as historic Black Mountain Fire Lookout, constructed in the 1930`s. Waste station 8.5 miles at Burgess Junction.

Location: From Dayton, take US 14 west 40 miles to Tie Flume/Dead Swede and Forest Route 26. Turn left onto FR 26 and go 2.5 miles to "Y" intersection and FR 16. Bear left onto FR 16 and go 0.2 miles; turn right at sign into campground.
