Description: 9000 foot elevation. 47 single campsites and 2 group areas are in a sheltered canyon. One group site holds 80 people/15 vehicles and the other one holds 100 people/15 vehicles. Each site holds 15 tents. A ballfield is closeby. There are several hiking,horse riding, and biking trails in the area. Also many OHV trails are in the area. No ATV's or horses are permitted in the campground. A dispersed camping area allowing horses is to the north. This, along with nearby Ant Flat, is a popular snowmobiling area. Some campsites remain open during big game hunting season. Scenic driving on the byway, visit nearby Causey Reservoir.

From 11/15 - 5/1, a rustic cabin is available to those who ski or snowmobile in. Cabin is equipped with propane heat, lights, cookstove, and outdoor toilet. The cabin can hold you and nine of your best friends, and is available for a fee. Call the ranger district for reservations.
