Description: 8500 ft. elevation. 9 individual sites and 2 group sites holding 30 and 75 campers with 8 vehicles each are in Ephraim Canyon near Lake Hill Reservoir. Group sites have picnic tables, serving tables, utility tables, fire rings, and water. Lake views from some sites. Trailhead for the Experimental Station Trail, which intersects the Jimmies Fork Trail. The Great Basin Experimental Station researches new methods of land management which work better to conserve the environment. Ephraim Canyon contains a self-guided auto tour detailing areas of the canyon under experimental research. No motorized boats in the lake. Activities are hiking, horse riding, mountain biking, fishing, and canoeing. ATV trails are in the area.
