Description: 6100 foot elevation. 6 boat-in only camp sites on the southern shore of the southeastern arm of Flaming Gorge Reservoir.
Fishing in Flaming Gorge Reservoir for mackinaw (lake trout), Utah chub, rainbow trout, channel catfish, and smallmouth bass. The Green River below the dam is one of the best trout streams in the country, and is also popular among rafters and kayakers. There are over 220 miles of trails in the NRA. Sheep Canyon Geological Area, just west of the NRA, features stunning scenic panoramas, framed by colorfully-striated cliffs.
Location: From Dutch John go about 2.5 miles south to launch from the the Dutch John Draw boat ramp, then about 9 miles west to the campground.
