Description: 6982-foot elevation. 3 tent-only campsites on the border of the Hells Canyon Wilderness. An overlook near the campground offers a dazzling view of the deep canyon carved by the Hells Canyon Snake River. Trails wind down to the river from the overlook, picnic area, and campground. A trailhead with a stock loading ramp is at the end of Forest Road 4240 (north of the campground).
Location: From Enterprise, go 63 miles northeast on the Hells Canyon Scenic Byway ( OR 82, OR 3, Forest Road 4240 and FR 315).
