Description: 4500-foot elevation. Primitive campground near the Wild and Scenic Imnaha River in the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area. Fishing for steelhead January 1 - April 15 and September 1 - December 31, but only adipose-clipped fish may be kept. Other activities in the area include hunting for big game, packing into the Eagle Cap Wilderness, day hiking, and snowmobiling. Wildlife common along the Imnaha includes bighorn sheep, mule deer, elk, and black bear. Wilderness trailhead access upriver, at Indian Crossing.
Location: From Enterprise, go 42 miles southeast on the Hells Canyon Scenic Byway, then 8 miles west on Forest Road 3960.
