Buzzard Park Campground, New Mexico

Description: Located 25 miles northeast of Gobernador at 7300'. The campground provides for a sense of isolation as well as wonderful landscapes of the Jemez and San Juan Mountains. There are many opportunities for wildlife viewing here including deer, elk, and wild horses. Nearby attractions such as Buzzard canyon and the Piedra river offer opportunities for recreation nearby Buzzard Park campground. Visitors can also visit Navajo State Park.

Location: 35 miles east of Blanco via US 64 and FR 310 At mile marker 114.5 along U.S. 64 turn north (right)onto FR 310 and travel for 15 miles to the campground.
