Description: 2 campsites on the American River. Two trails branch out from the campground. To the north, you can hike along Lick Creek or to Erickson Ridge. To the south, you can hike along the river. Nearby Forest Road 9812 is great for mountain biking, but most of this area is closed to motor vehicles, including snowmobiles. Fishing for brook trout.

Location: From Elk City, go north 5.5 miles on County Road 1854 and Forest Road 443.
