Description: 4,480-foot elevation. 40 campsites, including a group RV area on the Red River. The campground is convenient for accessing the 101-mile Magruder Corridor. The road was built in the 1930`s by the CCC. It
is a single lane dirt road suitable for high clearance vehicles, motorcycles and mountain bikes. Fishing for brook and rainbow trout and mountain whitefish. There is a short nature trail in the campground.
Location: From Elk City, take ID 14 west 2 miles to Forest Road 222 and
go south 14 miles. Go east onto FR 234 and go 5. miles.
