Description: 9600-foot elevation. Camping is no longer permitted here, nor is driving here between 9 am and 5 pm. A shuttle bus is available to the lake from Aspen Highlands or from one of the other campgrounds (Silver Bell, Silver Bar, Silver Queen). The bus costs $5.50 per person.

Location: From Aspen, go 1 miles west on CO 82, then south on Maroon Bells Road.
