Description: Miracle Rock Recreation Site is located in the high desert, in a pinon-juniper forest overlooking the scenic Little Dolores River Valley. 4 campsites. A 1/2 mile long trail leads from the recreation site to "Miracle Rock", a large sandstone outcropping perched on a cliff edge. There is opportunity for hiking and horseback riding on the surrounding BLM lands. Mountain biking and off-highway vehicles are also permitted on existing roads and trails.
Location: From Grand Junction follow signs to the Colorado National Monument. Once in the monument take the Glade
Park Store turn off, travel 8 miles west past the Glade Park Store (DS Road) to 9.8 road and turn left. The recreation site is 1 mile
on left hand side of road.
