Description: 7500-foot elevation. 9 campsites and a group camping area in the Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area, between the Dominguez Canyons Wilderness and the Uncompahgre National Forest. With beautiful red canyon country all around, there are plenty of opportunities for hiking and horseback riding. The area provides valuable wildlife habitat for desert bighorn sheep, deer, elk, mountain lion, black bear, wild turkey and chukar.
