FIRE RESTRICTIONS: This site is OPEN but under Stage II wildfire restrictions.

Description: 7600ft elevation. Located in a dense forest near Woods Canyon Lake, this group site has a limit of 120 people/30 vehicles. Boating and fishing on Woods Canyon Lake. Wildlife watching. Scenic driving. Interpretive programs on weekends. Nature trail at the north end of the lake. The Apache is noted for its trout streams and high-elevation lakes and meadows. Wildlife viewing and hunting for Antelope, Black Bear, Turkey, Mule Deer and Trophy Elk. Scenic driving on the White Mtn and Coronado Trail Byways, and the dramatic Mogollon Rim. Hiking access to Blue Range Wilderness and Blue Ridge Recreation Trail.
