Description: 5400` elevation. Amid oaks and junipers this group area with 3 group sites is a short drive away from Parker Canyon Lake. Offers 3 small group areas with a maximum of 50 people for camping or day use. Access to the 5 mile Lakeshore Trail is close by, plus the Arizona Trail. Prime birdwatching area. Watch for eagles, osprey, and other wildlife. The sky islands of the Coronado National Forest are unique and surprising. Birding, wildlife watching and hunting for White Tail and Mule Deer, Javelina, Cougar and Black Bear. Notable historic figures include Cochise and Geronimo. Many opportunities for mountain biking.Explore nearby historic Tombstone, site of the Gunfight at the OK Corral, and Ft Bowie.
