Description: 7600` elevation. 3 miles from Black Canyon Lake. 21 campsites in Ponderosa trees. Historical marker is close by. This campground is a favorite stopping place for those traveling on the General Crook National Recreation Trail.
The Apache is noted for its trout streams and high-elevation lakes and meadows. Wildlife viewing and hunting for Antelope, Black Bear, Turkey, Mule Deer and Trophy Elk. Scenic driving on the White Mtn and Coronado Trail Byways, and the dramatic Mogollon Rim. Hiking access to Blue Range Wilderness and Blue Ridge Recreation Trail.
