Description: 4000` elevation. Large group site for group camping by reservation only. Pena Blanca Lake is closed indefinitely to recreation - lake is dry. Trail around lake is open. The sky islands of the Coronado National Forest are unique and surprising. Birding, wildlife watching and hunting for White Tail and Mule Deer, Javelina, Cougar and Black Bear. Notable historic figures include Father Kino, Cochise and Geronimo.Many opportunities for mountain biking. Nearby to historic sites of Tumacacori and Tubac Presidio.
