Description: 6500` elevation. 14 camp sites with access to hiking a nature trail to an overlook of the canyon in the camping area. Forest trailheads at the edge of the campground lead into the Chirichua Wilderness.
The sky islands of the Coronado National Forest are unique and surprising.
Birding, wildlife watching and hunting for White Tail and Mule Deer, Javelina, Cougar and Black Bear. Notable historic figures include Cochise and Geronimo. Many opportunities for mountain biking.Explore nearby historic Tombstone, site of the Gunfight at the OK Corral, and Ft Bowie.
