FIRE RESTRICTIONS: This site is OPEN but under Stage I wildfire restrictions.

Description: 50 campsites and picnic facilities around 75-acre Luna Lake, including 2 group sites, and 1 accessible group site which holds up to 120 people. Elevation is 7960ft.A large wetland nearby is popular among nesting waterfowl. Campfire programs in July and August. Great for wildflowers. Wildlife viewing. Camping, fishing, and hiking in the Blue Primitive Area near by are enjoyed here. Fishing, motor boating(10mph limit), and canoeing on the lake. Mountain biking on the Luna Lake Loop Trail in the area. The Apache is noted for its trout streams and high-elevation lakes and meadows. Wildlife viewing and hunting for Antelope, Black Bear, Turkey, Mule Deer and Trophy Elk. Scenic driving on the White Mtn and Coronado Trail Byways, and the dramatic Mogollon Rim. Hiking access to Blue Range Wilderness and Blue Ridge Recreation Trail.
