Description: BLM has posted Fire Restrictions for this area. Campfires and charcoal grills are permitted ONLY in developed recreation sites or improved sites where agency-built fire rings or grills are provided. NOTE: Fire restrictions also apply to undeveloped agency lands outside of this site. For details, click here.

6000` elevation. Extremely scenic campground in the Cerbat Mountains, near the old mining town of Chloride. The Cherum Peak Trail begins near the campground. 14 day stay limit


Location: From Kingman, Arizona, travel 18 miles north on Highway 93, to the BLM`s Big Wash Road turnoff. This turnoff is located 1.5 miles north of the State Road 62-Chloride turnoff. Windy Point Recreation Site is located 11 miles up the unpaved Big Wash Road from its junction with Highway 93.
