Description: 3300-foot elevation. 30 campsites, including 17 equestrian sites with corrals and some double sites. This is a crucial breeding ground for the endangered arroyo toad, and closes March 1-June 15 for the health of this animal. Hiking and horse riding on the Pacific Crest Trail; access is closeby. Bears are frequent visitors at this campground and bear boxes are provided. Wildlife viewing.
