Description: Elevations range from 5,600 feet on the southeast side to 7,000 feet on the west side. Flat topped Juniper Mesa, broken up by steep canyons, dominates the wilderness. Pack in your own water, since sources are unreliable. Hunting here is superb, for mule deer and small game.There are 7 maintained trails within this wilderness. Hiking, camping, horseback riding, wildlife viewing.
