Description: 6200-foot elevation. Excellent hunting for waterfowl, deer, elk, black bear, blue grouse, cottontail rabbit, dove, & band-tailed pigeon. Fishing in Lake Avery for rainbow trout, some brook & cutthroat trout. Fishing in the White River for trout & whitefish. Three areas are designated for camping. Corrals are available. Some areas are restricted to motorized vehicles.
Location: From Meeker go north 1.5 miles on CO 13 to County Road 8, then east for nine miles.
