Description: 5800ft elevation. 28 campsites with 7 walk-in sites are located along the Truckee River. Fishing is excellent here. Hiking trail access starts here, and the Western States Trail is south on Hwy 89. Good base camping area for visiting Lake Tahoe south of here. Swimming,tubing,fishing, and scenic driving in the area.
