Description: CLOSED- Cabin destroyed by fire. 7100-foot elevation. Cabin sleeps 4. Cabin is located in old growth ponderosa pines overlooking Summer Lake. Outstanding views from the deck, colors change with season. 2 beds, 2 cots, woodstove, firewood, propane lantern and cook stove, dishes and pots provided.

Location: From Silver Lake District Office: Go Southeast on OR 31 for about 18 miles and turn right onto Forest Road 2901. Follow the signs for 18 miles to Forest Road 2901-034. Turn left and drive 2 * miles to the parking area. From the parking area, there is a trail that leads to the cabin.
