Description: 24 miles of cross-country ski and snowshoe trails range from beginner to intermediate. Two of the trails have warming shelters. Access to about 150 miles of snowmobile trails, including 3 shelters. This is a recommended parking area for large vehicles or vehicles with trailers. This area is open both to people with dogs and to winter camping. You must keep control of your dogs and clean up after them.

For those who crave wintry conditions all year round, hike in to the nearby Edison Ice Cave in the summer, another effect of the widespread volcanism in the area. Mountain biking and OHV riding in summer.
