Description: 43,000 acres extending across the Spring Mountains Range. 18,000 acres of bristlecone pine, largest such stand in the Intermountain West. more than 40 miles of trails, 11,918-foot Charleston peak is second highest point in Nevada.

Location: From Las Vegas head north on US 95 12 miles to State 157 then west (left) 18 miles.
