Description: 10 campsites on Rock Creek. Good fishing in the creek, for brook trout, brown trout, and rainbow trout. Much of the stream is protected to better the fishery and provide grizzly bear food. Avoid taking either bull trout or westslope cutthroat from these waters. Trails and old roads climb into the steep drainages of the Bitterroots; the trail at the end of FR 241 leads to lovely Stony Lake, at over 8000 feet.
