Description: 3120-foot elevation. 8 campsites on Cow Creek. Hunting for trophy deer and turkey in the forest. Undeveloped hiking and horseback riding throughout the forest, particularly in nearby King Mountain Hiking Area, accessible on Forest Road 131. Motorized vehicles are permitted everywhere except the designated hiking areas. Nearby day use picnic area at Poker Jim Butte, west of the campground on FR 95.
Location: From Ashland, go 4 miles east on US 212, 20 miles south on County Road 485, and 5 miles west on Forest Road 95.
