Description: 5700-foot elevation. 13 camp sites on the Gallatin River. Rafting and kayaking on the Gallatin; Class I-II rapids on the 20-mile stretch between Yellowstone National Park and Greek Creek, and some Class IV rapids from there to Squaw Creek. Excellent fishing for brown trout, rainbow trout, mountain whitefish, and sculpin; there is also a wheelchair-accessible fishing access. Trailhead access to the adjacent section of the Lee Metcalf Wilderness just south of the campground; hike up the slopes of Jumbo Mountain. Old logging roads network the area to the east, and make for great mountain biking or ATV riding.
