Description: Campground will be closed early summer 2000 for reconstruction.
8 campsites on Timber Creek. A trail from the campground goes a few miles west into a spectacular area, where pristine alpine lakes are shadowed by 11,000-foot peaks. The trail continues, doubling back on the Middle Fork Sweet Creek. The trails are open to foot and horse traffic only.


Location: From Big Timber, go north 11 miles on US 191, then 12 miles west on Big Timber Canyon Road.
