Description: 11 campsites in Boulder Canyon between the Beartooth and
Absaroka Ranges. Fishing for rainbow trout and Yellowstone cutthroat in nearby Boulder Creek. Trailheads with wilderness access are prolific to the north and to the south south of the campground. Trails to the east access the lovely Lake Plateau in the Beartooths, and trails to the west scale the West Boulder Plateau in the Absarokas. Mechanized vehicles are prohibited in the wilderness.
Location: From Big Timber, go south 25 miles on MT 298 then south on County Road 212 16 miles.
