Description: 5700-foot elevation. 14 campsites on the Little Blackfoot River. Fishing for brook trout in the river. A trail from the campground heads south to Blackfoot Meadows, an excellent wildlife viewing area. The trail continues south into the Deerlodge National Forest, emerging around Whitehouse Campground. A small corral is near the trailhead, at the Kading Ranger Station.
Location: From Elliston, go 1 mile east on US 12, 4 miles south on the County Road, and 9 miles southwest on Forest Road 227.
