Description: 25 campsites on the Big Hole River. Hand launch on the river, excellent fishing. This is the nearest campground to Humbug Spires Primitive Area, a popular hiking and rock climbing destination. A primitive road, great for mountain bikes, leads out of the campground up to Nez Perce Ridge, where there is a trailhead for a trail which swoops east along Cattle Gulch Ridge. This is a restricted travel area, due to environmental considerations.
