Description: 6135-foot elevation. 30 campsites on the turbulent Salmon River. Fantastic fishing. Convenient to the town of Stanley-- take an afternoon and go visit the fascinating Stanley Museum, which reveals the rich history of the area. Located in a mixed lodgepole pine and meadow/sagebrush environment. To maintain streambank integrity, sites 13 - 30 are closed from August 15 through May of the following year.
